I am interested in mathematical problems in quantum information science, complexity theory, and cryptography.
I am currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Calgary and a faculty member of the Institute for Quantum Science and Technology located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
For information about my current and past research projects, check out my research page. I was previously a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Ottawa and the QUASAR group. My mentors were Prof. Anne Broadbent and Prof. Arthur Mehta. I obtained my Ph.D. from the Department of Combinatorics & Optimization at the University of Waterloo under the co-supervision of Prof. William Slofstra and Prof. Jon Yard. While in Waterloo I was also a member of the Institute for Quantum Computing (IQC).
I sometimes post on Quantum Computing Stack Exchange.
